V Shaped model is a variant of the waterfall model that emphasises the verification and validation of the Software. Testing of the product is planned with the corresponding phase of development in Software Engineering.

Advantages to V Model :
- Emphases on planning for verification & validation for product in early stages of product development field.
- Each deliverables are easily testable.
- This model is very easy to use.
- With the help of the milestone we can track the project management.
Disadvantages to V Model :
- Does not easily handle document event.
- Does not handle illitations or phases.
- Does not easily handle dynamic changes and requirement.
- Does not contain risk analysis activity.
Types of projects in which model is used:
- Excellent choice of system requireing high realibility.
- All requirenment are klnown very well.
- Solution & technologies are known.
